The Godalming Trust takes your privacy seriously. We will only collect the minimum information we need to operate, support and publicise The Godalming Trust and its events, some of which are organised jointly with Godalming Museum. Your personal data will only be accessed by members of the Godalming Trust Executive Committee for these purposes.
Personal data we collect may include
– Your name and title
– Postal address, email address and phone number
We may also need from you information relating to collection of donations including Gift Aid.
We will delete your personal data when it is no longer needed, e.g if you cease your membership or at any other time that you request your information is deleted by writing to the Hon Secretary at Winter Cottage, Milford Road, Elstead, Godalming, GU8 6HY
We might need to keep your data for a longer period if you have registered for Gift Aid as required by HMRC. This information will be stored securely and will not be used or accessed except as the law requires. It will not be updated.
You may ask to see what your personal data consist of and to amend it at any time, by writing to the Hon Secretary at the address above. We will endeavour to deal with your request within 21 days and will not make any charge for the enquiry. If you think we have mishandled your data and have not made amends you may have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office which enforces data protection laws: https://ico.org.uk
We will never sell your data and we will never share it with another company, charity or organisation for any purposes unless required by law.
