Godalming Town Guided History Walks Programme 2024 - Click Here for More Information

Come along and learn about the town’s fascinating and sometimes surprising history.
We will look at the buildings and landscape for clues about Godalming’s past. There are two walks alternating throughout the summer.

(Walk 1) The first looks at the towns ‘industrial’ past whereas
(Walk 2) The second looks at the towns former coaching inns and their role and High Street and Bridge Street

On previous walks, participants have added some interesting comments about the town’s history, to the benefit of us all.

The summer programme for 2024 is now finished, however there are two walks over Heritage Open Days (click here for programme)

We are happy to arrange tours for groups for up to 20 people. Please use our contact form to ask about these.
